- 6 green onions
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2.1 oz fresh parsley
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp baking powder

- Salt and pepper, to taste

Soak the fava beans in water overnight. Drain and remove the skins. Dry with a cloth.

Grind the fava beans in a food processor until a paste forms. Add green onions, garlic, parsley, cumin, baking powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix well and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Form the mixture into 1-inch balls. Flatten slightly and coat with flour.
