Directions
- 1
Hard-boil the eggs in a pot of boiling water for 10 minutes, then remove from heat.
- 2
While still in their shells, transfer the eggs to a bowl of cold water mixed with blue food coloring. Soak for 10 minutes to create a spooky marbled effect on the whites.
- 3
Carefully peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
- 4
Scoop out the yolks into a bowl. Add the cream cheese and a few drops of green food coloring, then mash and stir until smooth and creamy. Spoon or pipe the green filling back into the egg white halves.
- 5
Slice the black olives into small pieces and arrange them on the filling to form eyes and little spiders. Serve chilled and watch them disappear!
💡 Chef's Tip
For a more dramatic spider-web effect, gently crack the shells before soaking — the blue dye seeps into the cracks and creates a stunning pattern once peeled.
