🛒 Ingredients

12 servings

12
  • 2 lbs (1 kg) ground beef
  • 1 lb (500 g) potatoes, diced
  • 1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 5 oz (150 g) smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1 cup (200 ml) water
  • ½ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh chives, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Directions

  1. 1

Heat the olive oil in the pressure cooker over medium heat. Sauté the onion and garlic until softened and golden, about 3 minutes.

  2. 2

Add the smoked sausage and cook for 2 minutes until lightly browned and fragrant.

  3. 3

Add the ground beef, breaking up any clumps with a wooden spoon, and stir until no longer pink.

  4. 4

Pour in the tomato sauce and water, crumble in the bouillon cube, then add the parsley and chives. Stir well to combine.

  5. 5

Add the diced potatoes, season with salt and pepper, and seal the pressure cooker lid securely.

  6. 6

Cook under high pressure for 20 minutes from when the valve starts hissing. Allow pressure to release naturally before opening.

  7. 7

Serve hot with steamed white rice or a fresh green salad on the side.

💡 Chef's Tip

For a thicker sauce, remove the lid after cooking and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes on low heat. Swap the smoked sausage for chorizo or spicy Italian sausage for an extra kick.
