- 2 cups white rice
- 10.5 oz dried beef (charque) or salted beef
- 1 medium onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 medium bell pepper
- 1 handful fresh parsley
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cups water
- Salt and pepper to taste

Cut the dried beef into small pieces.
