🛒 Ingredients

4 servings

4
  • 1 kg ground beef or your preferred ground meat
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1 packet instant onion soup mix
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Directions

  1. 1

In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, egg, and onion soup mix.

  2. 2

Mix firmly by hand for 2–3 minutes until the mixture is completely uniform and holds together well.

  3. 3

Shape the mixture into equal-sized patties using a burger press, cookie cutter, or the plastic bottle mold trick.

  4. 4

Arrange patties in a single layer on a tray lined with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 2 hours.

  5. 5

Cook frozen or thawed patties in a hot lightly oiled skillet, 3–4 minutes per side, until cooked through.

  6. 6

Serve in burger buns with your favorite toppings and enjoy!

💡 Chef's Tip

Place a sheet of parchment paper between each patty before freezing so they don't stick together. They keep perfectly for up to 3 months in the freezer.
