🛒 Ingredients

8 servings

8
  • 1 kg (2.2 lbs) pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon herbes de Provence
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Directions

  1. 1

Rinse the pork chops under cold water and pat dry thoroughly with paper towels.

  2. 2

In a large bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, herbes de Provence, crushed garlic, lemon juice and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Coat the chops generously with the marinade, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

  3. 3

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chops covered for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.

  4. 4

Remove from heat, rest for 2 minutes and serve alongside grilled vegetables or a fresh green salad.

💡 Chef's Tip

For the best flavor, prepare the marinade the evening before and let the chops rest overnight in the fridge — the meat will be noticeably more tender and flavorful.
