🛒 Ingredients

8 servings

8
  • 2.2 lbs (1 kg) beef ribs, cut into pieces
  • 7 oz (200 g) sliced smoked bacon
  • 2 large onions, sliced into rings
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes, crumbled
  • 1 packet all-purpose seasoning (e.g., Sazon or similar)
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chives, and black pepper to taste
  • 2 medium tomatoes, sliced (optional)
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced (optional)

Directions

  1. 1

Line the bottom of the pressure cooker with the sliced bacon — no oil needed.

  2. 2

Place the beef ribs on top of the bacon, bone-side down.

  3. 3

Scatter the onion rings over the meat, then crumble the bouillon cubes on top and sprinkle the all-purpose seasoning.

  4. 4

Season with salt, fresh parsley, chives, and black pepper to your liking.

  5. 5

Optionally, add tomato and bell pepper slices around the meat for extra flavor.

  6. 6

Seal the pressure cooker and bring to high heat. Once the valve starts hissing, lower the heat and cook for 45–50 minutes.

  7. 7

Allow the pressure to release naturally before opening. The meat should pull away from the bone easily.

💡 Chef's Tip

No water required — the bacon fat and onions release enough moisture to cook everything perfectly. For deeper flavor, quickly sear the ribs before assembling. Leftovers taste even better the next day!
