🛒 Ingredients

10 servings

10
  • 500 g (1 lb) ground beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (approx. 120 g)
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Salt, pepper and seasonings of choice (garlic powder, paprika, dried herbs)

Directions

  1. 1

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, eggs, and seasonings. Mix thoroughly until the mixture is uniform.

  2. 2

Add about three-quarters of the flour to the meat mixture and mix again until everything binds together.

  3. 3

Lightly flour a clean work surface. Scoop a portion of the meat mixture with a spoon and place it in the palm of your hand.

  4. 4

Gently press the meat between both palms to shape it into a round patty about 1 cm thick.

  5. 5

Lay the patties on the floured surface and dust both sides with the remaining flour for a light coating.

  6. 6

Heat a thin layer of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the patties, flipping only once, until golden brown and cooked through on both sides.

💡 Chef's Tip

Only flip the patties once to keep them from falling apart. For extra flavour, season the mixture with smoked paprika or cumin.
