🛒 Ingredients

10 servings

10
  • 1 smoked tender ham (about 800 g)
  • 2 tablespoons softened unsalted butter
  • 1 packet of meat seasoning blend
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, finely chopped
  • Black pepper to taste

Directions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 350 °F (180 °C). Slice the ham into pieces about ½ inch (1 cm) thick — avoid cutting them too thin so the meat stays moist.

  2. 2

Soften the butter at room temperature or microwave it for 10 seconds. Stir in the seasoning blend and chopped chives until you get a smooth, aromatic herb butter.

  3. 3

Arrange the ham slices in a baking dish and spread the herb butter generously over each piece.

  4. 4

Bake for 15 minutes until the butter has melted and turned lightly golden. Serve immediately with white rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.

💡 Chef's Tip

Roll leftover herb butter into a log using plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to one week — it's equally delicious spread on crusty bread or tossed with pasta.
