🛒 Ingredients

5 servings

5
  • 1 kg (2.2 lbs) pork leg
  • 6 large onions, sliced into rings
  • 4 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
  • ½ cup water (approx. 100 ml)

Directions

  1. 1

Peel and slice the onions into rings, then divide into two equal portions.

  2. 2

Line the bottom of the pressure cooker with the first portion of onions.

  3. 3

Place the pork leg on top of the onion layer.

  4. 4

Crumble the beef bouillon cubes directly over the meat to evenly distribute flavor.

  5. 5

Sprinkle with cilantro and cover with the remaining onion rings. Pour in the water.

  6. 6

Seal the pressure cooker and bring to high heat until pressure builds.

  7. 7

Reduce to medium heat and cook for 25 minutes until the pork is fork-tender and the onions have melted into a succulent broth.

💡 Chef's Tip

Rest the meat for 5 minutes before serving to keep it juicy. Serve with white rice or steamed potatoes to soak up every drop of that rich broth.
