🛒 Ingredients

4 servings

4
  • 1 kg (2.2 lb) pork belly, cut into cubes
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 3 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon (optional, to serve)

Directions

  1. 1

Cut the pork belly into roughly 3 cm cubes.

  2. 2

In a bowl, combine pork cubes with crushed garlic, vinegar, salt, and pepper.

  3. 3

Marinate for at least 20 minutes.

  4. 4

    Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C (390 °F) for 5 minutes.

  5. 5

Place pork pieces in the basket in a single layer.

  6. 6

Cook at 200 °C for 1 hour 20 minutes, shaking the basket every 20 minutes.

  7. 7

Be careful when opening the basket as hot fat may splatter.

  8. 8

Once deeply golden and crispy, remove and drain on paper towels.

  9. 9

Squeeze lemon juice on top and serve immediately.

💡 Chef's Tip

Pat the pork dry before marinating for extra crispiness. Cooking time may vary by air fryer model — start checking at the 1-hour mark.
