Corned Beef and Braised Cabbage

- 10 small potatoes
- 5 medium carrots
- 1 head green cabbage

Place the brisket in a large pot or Dutch oven and cover completely with water. Add the included spice packet. Cover and bring to a boil, then reduce the heat.

Simmer for approximately 50 minutes per pound until the meat is tender (about 2 hours and 30 minutes for 3.3 lbs).

Add the whole potatoes and the peeled, chopped carrots. Continue cooking until the vegetables are almost tender (about 20 minutes).

Add the cabbage cut into wedges and cook for an additional 15 minutes.
