🛒 Ingredients

5 servings

5
  • 1 kg (2.2 lb) pork ribs
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fine salt
  • 1 cup (200 ml) tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes
  • Black pepper to taste

Directions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).

  2. 2

Rinse the pork ribs under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

  3. 3

Rub the minced garlic and salt generously over every surface of the ribs.

  4. 4

Spread the tomato sauce evenly over all sides of the meat.

  5. 5

Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place on a baking sheet.

  6. 6

Bake for 50 minutes — the steam inside the foil makes the meat incredibly tender.

  7. 7

Unwrap the foil, baste with the collected cooking juices, and return to the oven.

  8. 8

Bake uncovered for 20 to 40 more minutes until golden and caramelized.

💡 Chef's Tip

For deeper flavor, marinate the ribs overnight with garlic, salt, and tomato sauce in the fridge. Serve alongside roasted potatoes or steamed white rice.
