Directions

  1. 1

    Preheat the oven to 390°F.

  2. 2

Wash the potatoes and cut them into wedges. Place them in a large bowl, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, salt, pepper, and herbs. Spread them out on a baking sheet.

  3. 3

Prepare the sauce: mix the honey, the remaining olive oil, garlic, paprika, mustard, salt, and pepper.

  4. 4

Clean the chicken thighs and brush them generously with the honey-garlic mixture.

  5. 5

Sprinkle the sesame seeds over each thigh.

  6. 6

Place the chicken in the oven with the potatoes. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.

  7. 7

Halfway through cooking, baste the chicken with its juices and toss the potatoes.

  8. 8

Check for doneness: the skin should be golden and crispy, and the meat fully cooked through.

  9. 9

Meanwhile, wash the salad greens and cut the tomatoes into wedges.

  10. 10

Prepare the dressing: mix 1 tablespoon of olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and salt.

  11. 11

Plate the meal: place a chicken thigh in the center, with potatoes and dressed salad on either side.

💡 Chef's Tip

For more caramelized chicken, increase the temperature to 430°F for the last 5 minutes. If the honey browns too quickly, cover with aluminum foil during the first half of cooking. Toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan for 2-3 minutes before use for extra flavor.
